Lawson Professional Coaching provides the blueprint for discovery and application of talent development. Leaders use the Highlands Ability Battery "HAB" results, combined with skilled coaching, to empower people and outcome.
The Highlands Ability Battery "HAB" is a human assessment tool that objectively measures your natural abilities by asking you to perform specific tasks or exercises. It is an aptitude test designed to help you understand how you reason, how you approach challenges and how you learn.
The HAB was founded on the work of research scientist Johnson O’Connor, who devoted his life to the study of human engineering. Almost a century of research that began with Johnson O’Connor and continues through the Johnson O’Connor Research Foundation has established that every individual is born with a pattern of abilities unique to him or her.
Scores in these different areas will be relatively high, medium, or low in comparison to the tens of thousands of people who have taken the HAB before you. There’s no inherent benefit to one ability over another—it’s knowing where your strengths lie that gives you the advantage of working within your strength capacity.
Team members and leaders participate online in completing the Highlands Ability Assessment. Upon completion of the assessment, each participant has the opportunity to read and review individualized reports through electronic copies. Your results are revealed in an individual analysis report of more than 30 pages.
Dr. Lawson coaches each participant through the detailed and customized results, noting implications for work application with leaders and team members. Practical information about roles and responsibilities that complement your profile will be included.
Specialized reports and frequency score graphs can be provided for leadership, including implications of combined scores among teams. This allows leadership to access data that more completely addresses company goals as a whole.
The Leader report reveals how natural abilities influence roles, responsibilities, and opportunities for skill development. This specialized report builds self-awareness of your leadership talents and strengths and relates them to specific behaviors and blind spots to offer practical solutions.
